Life Journey

I have had a passion for woodworking at a young age, so I decided to pursue my dream profession by taking woodworking classes and attending a technical school for carpentry, but life took me in a different direction, and I decided to join the U.S. Marines followed by the U.S. Army serving as a helicopter pilot.

During the years served in the military, I never stopped woodworking, designing, or just dreaming about being a sawdust maker. I have spent a good portion of my life building a collection of tools, woodworking literature, and collecting exotic hardwood.

I consider myself very fortunate to have visited and spent time in over 30 countries around the world while I studied local architecture and contemporary and period furniture design which fed my passion for cultural history.

“I have had many passions in my life and… I hope to inspire my son and daughter to find theirs. I would also like to help you find yours.”

In the last 20+ years, I have had 5 woodworking shops, and am now in my dream workshop which took me 3 ½ years to remodel while working a full-time job and going to business school. I even have a mobile workshop I built, and still use, inspired by the reality television series from the past, “Trading Spaces.”

I have had many passions in my life and at the top of my list are my two children. By pursuing my passion, I hope to inspire my son and daughter to find theirs. I would also like to help you find yours.

2023 is a special year because after two-plus decades of woodworking mostly as a hobbyist, I decided to take a leap of faith and follow my heart as a full-time, professional woodworker. Will you take a leap and follow me
on this journey?

Sincerely,

Jeremiah,

the guy with sawdust in his beard and
most likely wearing a tool apron.
